NDIS Funding for YourVoice

Summary:

YourVoice adds voice control to an existing electric adjustable bed for a one-time cost of $2,490, fully installed - no ongoing fees required.

 

For NDIS participants it is typically funded as a mid-cost assistive technology item from the Capital budget, supported by written evidence from an OT and a quote.

 

Where a plan includes a low-cost AT allocation under Consumables, the device ($1,490) may instead be claimed as Low Cost AT - Personal Care and Safety, with installation, configuration and training ($1,000) claimed as the linked Delivery support.

 

Optional support plans, where clinically recommended, may be claimable as AT repairs and maintenance.
