NDIS and Support At Home

NDIS Funding

YourVoice is typically funded under Core Supports (Consumables) or Capital Supports (Mid Cost AT), depending on your plan.

The process:

Your OT assesses your needs and prescribes YourVoice as assistive technology.

The prescription covers both the $800 device and the $85 monthly subscription. You may be able to fund this out of Core - Consumables (03_090000911_0103_1_1 – Low Cost AT for Personal Care and Safety) if your have a Low Cost AT budget.

If not the simplest option may be to submit a Plan Variation request. this with your NDIS funding request through your plan manager or the NDIA.

The NDIS states it will review and respond to Plan Variation Requests within 28 days.
